TORONTO, March 22, 2021 – Corus Entertainment announces the renewal of a multi-year partnership with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and HGTV Canada’s Bryan and Sarah Baeumler. Following a successful three-year deal launched in 2018, the relationship has been renewed for an additional three years. The full-service talent partnership, coordinated and facilitated by Corus Tempo, offers RBC promotional support that leverages the Baeumler’s involvement. The partnership aims to help RBC customers, including the Baeumler’s, adapt in a continuously changing landscape with RBC’s suite of services.

“We are thrilled to renew this incredible collaboration with RBC and the Baeumler’s for another three years,” said Barb McKergow, Senior Vice President, National Sales, Corus Entertainment. “This partnership captures the full scope of what Corus Tempo offers clients. We understand Corus’ roster of premier talent and series’ best, and when combined with our in-house creative and production services, we deliver unique support that fits seamlessly with our clients’ goals.”

“We’re so pleased to extend our partnership with the Baeumler’s and Corus Entertainment,” said Alan Depencier, Chief Marketing Officer, RBC. “As long-standing RBC clients and business owners, Sarah and Bryan know what matters most to clients: value, support, expert advice and differentiated experiences. We share this common approach, and look forward to further integrating our stories together.”

Each year, the extended Canadian partnership will feature new and innovative elements that promote RBC’s services across all platforms, including television, digital, social, and events. Bryan and Sarah continue to skillfully bring to life RBC’s different financial tools through custom creative and in-show integration, as well as reach people directly through virtual events. Acting as both a creative and production house, in addition to offering talent and event support, Corus Tempo contributes a holistic range of services from strategy to execution to maximize RBC’s relationship with HGTV Canada and the Baeumler’s.

“Our partnership with RBC has allowed us to reach Canadians in a meaningful way,” said Bryan Baeumler. “We are proud to continue our work with RBC and Corus on this multi-year campaign.”

The continued partnership includes support for Season 3 of HGTV Canada’s #1 series*, Island of Bryan, premiering April 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. RBC is represented in the season with an array of integrations featuring their suite of digital tools, including MyAdvisor and NOMI, as well as custom creative and commercial support featuring the duo across multiple lines of business.

Season 3 of Island of Bryan captures the first year of the Baeumler’s boutique hotel in the Bahamas amidst the global pandemic. The new season unfolds in two parts, with the first five episodes airing this spring, and the latter half airing in summer 2021. Viewers can stream all previous episodes of Island of Bryan and watch the new season live on STACKTV. Island of Bryan is produced by Si Entertainment in association with Corus Studios for HGTV Canada.
