Corus Executive Leaders and On-Air Talent Put Down Their Razors and Team Up with The Movember Foundation

Toronto, November 1, 2018Corus Entertainment announced today its new partnership with the Movember Foundation, focused on bringing awareness to men’s health and helping raise funds that deliver innovative research and programs to enable men to live happier, healthier, and longer lives.

Leveraging its expansive offering of leading television networks, radio stations, and online assets, Corus is helping to deepen important conversations about men’s health and providing a national megaphone for this important initiative throughout the month of November.

Demonstrating its commitment to building the conversation around Movember, a number of Corus’ Executive Leaders are participating in the campaign by putting down their razors and proudly growing a moustache for the month of November. The Corus team includes McLelland, as well as Shawn Kelly – EVP, Technology, Colin Bohm – EVP, Business Development, and Corus President & CEO, Doug Murphy.

Corus’ expansive national network of radio stations will also be promoting the campaign and encouraging Canadians to participate, donate, and support their favourite Mo’s. On-air talent country-wide are joining in, with radio hosts from Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto all growing moustaches to support the cause. ET Canada’s Carlos Bustamante also joins the Movember movement, driving conversation around the initiative with various show integrations throughout the month.

For all of November, Global News morning shows across Canada will provide regular coverage of the Movember campaign, as well as extensive branded content on Globalnews.ca and homepage takeovers on Globalnews.ca and History.ca. Content includes articles about men’s health, moustache grooming tips, and more.
