Corus Entertainment Announces Voting Results From Annual And Special Meeting Of Shareholders

TORONTO, January 18, 2019 –Corus Entertainment Inc. (TSX: CJR.B) announced today the voting results from its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the “Meeting”) held in Calgary, Alberta on January 16, 2019.

A total of 3,267,760 Class A Participating Shares (“Class A Voting Shares”), representing 95.68% of the Company’s issued and outstanding Class A Voting Shares, were voted in connection with the Meeting. All matters put forth at the Meeting, including the appointment of auditors and authorization of the directors to fix the remuneration of such auditors, the fixing of the number of directors at 11, the election of directors, the ratification of the adoption of a special resolution approving the reduction in the stated capital of the Class A  Voting Shares and Class B non-voting participating shares in the capital of the Company, and the ratification and approval of the Company’s By-Law No. 1 were approved by a large majority of the voting shareholders as detailed in the Company’s filing on www.sedar.com.

Each of the 11 director nominees proposed by the Company in its Management Information Circular dated December 10, 2018, was elected as a director of Corus Entertainment as follows:
