TORONTO, March, 25, 2019 – Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana, a world-leading international producer and distributor of children’s animated content, has received seven 2019 Daytime Emmy Award nominations and two 2019 Rockie Award nominations, as announced on Wednesday, March 20 by the Television Academy and the Rockie Awards judging panel. The nine nominations recognize Nelvana for its significant contributions to produce and distribute outstanding kids and family content across animated and live-action series, including Esme & Roy, Miss Persona, ReBoot: The Guardian Code and Hotel Transylvania: The Series.

Miss Persona centres on an industrious leading lady who takes care of the creatures that inhabit her forest world. Along the way, she solves problems as they arise with the help of her bowtie-wearing best friend Brandon Bear and some upbeat tunes.
