The Three-Year Extension is in Partnership with True North Sports + Entertainment, with Game Coverage Beginning September 19

For Immediate Release

WINNIPEG, September 17, 2026 – Corus Entertainment is thrilled to announce the renewal of its exclusive radio broadcast partnership with the Winnipeg Jets, teaming up with True North Sports + Entertainment to bring listeners up-to-the-minute NHL coverage for another three years. The multi-year deal for all pre-season, regular season and playoff games kicks off September 19, with Kelly Moore, Paul Edmonds and Mitchell Clinton at the helm of on-air coverage.

For generations of Winnipeg sports fans, 680 CJOB has been the sound of Jets hockey, and as part of the renewed broadcast agreement, 680 CJOB will continue to carry select Manitoba Moose games, on CJOB, and all Moose games on cjob.com, further expanding the station’s coverage of the teams and athletes that matter most to the community.

“As the current home to the Winnipeg Jets, we are honoured to keep the tradition alive at 680 CJOB by renewing this partnership with the team, and True North,” said Tammy Cole, VP Audio, Corus. “There’s a reason fans have trusted us for so many years to handle game-time analysis, post-game coverage and all the action in between, and our talented team of broadcasters is a testament to that.”

“From the in-depth analysis to the stories that bring listeners closer to the team, generations of fans have been connecting with the Winnipeg Jets over CJOB’s airwaves,” said John Olfert, True North President and Chief Operating Officer. “We are pleased this tradition will continue, with the familiar and insightful voices of Paul Edmonds, Mitchell Clinton and Kelly Moore, as we build on our partnership with Corus. We’re also excited that fans can listen to even more Manitoba Moose hockey this season with 26 games on CJOB and the full season streamed online featuring Daniel Fink on the play-by-play.”

Fans can catch hundreds of hours of coverage this season on 680 CJOB and game simulcast on Power 97, including:

  • Pre-and-post game coverage with Kelly Moore, with the pre-game coverage starting two hours before puck drop on 680 CJOB
  • Play-by-play analysis with Paul Edmonds and Mitchell Clinton
  • Jets at Noon with Tyson Rewucki and Jim Toth
  • The Sports Show, 7-9 p.m. weekdays, with Christian Aumell

680 CJOB is also proud to be the home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Sea Bears, while continuing to deliver the local sports news, conversation and coverage listeners count on — seven days a week.
