680 CJOB AND TRUE NORTH SPORTS + ENTERTAINMENT SIGN EXCLUSIVE DEAL FOR RADIO BROADCAST RIGHTS
Station Becomes Premier Sports Destination in Winnipeg with Coverage of Local NHL, CFL and AHL Teams

WINNIPEG, October 5, 2020 – Corus Radio and True North Sports + Entertainment announced today a new deal that sees Global News Radio 680 CJOB (CJOB AM) acquire the Winnipeg Jets’ exclusive radio broadcast rights in a multi-year deal for all pre-season, regular season and playoff games for the 2020-21 through 2026-27 seasons. The games will also be simulcast on Power 97. With the excitement set to take off on Tuesday, October 6 with the NHL draft, hockey fans can tune in to 680 CJOB, Winnipeg’s News and Information Leader, for all the action or listen online at globalnews.ca/radio/cjob.
