Corus Radio’s Y108 is pleased to announce that Hamilton’s own Shelley Marshall joins The Ben McVie Show weekdays from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m. as co-host beginning December 19, 2013. Marshall will be filling in for Shawna Whalen, who is on maternity leave.

Named Best New Discovery by Now Magazine and nominated Best Female Stand Up in Canada at the Canadian Comedy Awards, Marshall is a kaleidoscope of comedic talent who captivates audiences with her brave and bawdy style. A graduate of Second City, Marshall produced and starred in the hit touring show The Full Bawdy Comedy Show and one woman show Hold Mommy’s Cigarette this summer. Marshall can also be seen on the OWN Network and The Ron James Show in recent television roles.

“We are excited to have Shelley take the on-air seat alongside Ben McVie,” said Jim McCourtie, Brand Director, Y108. “Her edgy sense of humour is sure to make our listeners laugh-out-loud every morning.”
