The Jeff Woods Show begins August 20, 2012 at 3 p.m. MT

(Calgary, Canada) Q107 Calgary is proud to announce that Canada’s preeminent voice of classic rock, well-known journalist and seasoned radio personality, Jeff Woods, will be the afternoon drive host starting on August 20, 2012. The Jeff Woods Show will air weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and feature Woods at his best, sharing stories and personal anecdotes from a long and successful broadcast career focused on the classic rock genre and the artists that defined an era.

Jeff Woods has become known as Canada’s preeminent voice for classic rock radio. He started broadcasting in 1985 and soon after shared his love of the genre in countless ways including a feature called The Legends of Classic Rock. Since 2001, the syndicated hour-long program has been destination tuning for the stories and history that make up the rich tapestry of classic rock by combining a mix of narrative, interviews, album tracks, rarities and live recordings. Nearly 400 different one-hour episodes have been produced, making it the premiere classic rock documentary produced in Canada.
