La chaîne Disney : New TV Offer for the Whole Family Starting September 1!
Montreal – As of September 1, kids, teens and families across the country will be able to access La chaîne Disney, the French-Canadian version of the famous Disney Channel. The high quality programming signed by Disney will present favorite kids’ comedies, sitcoms, cartoons and exclusive original movies. Later this fall, fans will also be able to access the best of this new channel—live and on demand— through the channel’s app.
Presented in some 30 languages, Disney Channel airs in over 100 countries internationally. “By launching a French-language version of Disney Channel in Quebec and the rest of Canada, we are proud to offer families new television programming under this iconic, worldwide brand. La chaîne Disney offers a wide range of popular shows that have made Disney Channel famous, such as “Le Monde de Riley” with Sabrina Carpenter, “Agent K.C.”, “Austin et Ally”, “Liv et Maddie”, “Princesse Sofia” and “Star Wars Rebels”. Later this fall, La chaîne Disney’s app, free of charge for subscribers, will allow them to watch their favorite shows and exclusive content on their tablets or phones.
La chaîne Disney will replace Télétoon Rétro, whose most popular shows will now air in Télétoon’s daytime programming. As of September 1, Télétoon Rétro subscribers will find a brand new station broadcasting on their usual channel.
