New CMT Original Series Premieres with two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, September 20 at 9 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT

(TORONTO – Canada) – Career ups and downs, raising two young kids, adopting another and flipping houses – that is real life for Dave and Kortney Wilson. Corus Entertainment’s CMT follows this fun loving family through laughter and tears in Meet The Wilsons, premiering with two back-to-back half-hour episodes on Sunday, September 20 at 9 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT.

Produced by Canada’s RGK One Shot Productions in association with CMT, this eight-part half-hour series documents this Canadian couple living in Nashville as they embark upon flipping their house, launching a music career and adopting a third child. With the help of their family and friends, one of whom is crashing with them temporarily, the Wilsons are determined to make all of their dreams come true.

“We are thrilled to bring audiences a series about celebrating the love, laughter and joys of life. Meet The Wilsons is reality programming at its best, said Ted Ellis, Vice President, Programming, CMT Canada. “From dealing with everyday at-home experiences, to launching a music career, audiences will not only connect with this family but want to root for them all the way.”

Kortney and Dave are parenting heroes!” said Ron Kitchener, Executive Producer, RGK One Shot Productions. “How do they manage to keep all these balls in the air, raise wonderful kids and still pursue success in one of the riskiest businesses imaginable? Well, watch and see.”

Meet The Wilsons will also have a strong web presence with behind-the-scenes extras and personal notes from the Wilsons themselves on CMT.ca. Supported by some of the best in the music biz, The Wilsons are signed to Open Road Recordings – home of such stars as Tara Oram, Doc Walker, Johnny Reid and The Road Hammers.
