Produced and Directed by John Ketcham (The Hurricane, Producer) Starring John Hannah and Estella Warren
(Toronto, Canada) Movie Central (Western Canada) and The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) present I Accuse, an original made-for-Pay TV movie, on Sunday, November 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. MT.
I Accuse, inspired by a true life story in which tragedy that turns into triumph, stars Canadian talent Estella Warren (Planet of the Apes, Driven) as Kimberly Jansen and John Hannah (The Mummy, Four Weddings and a Funeral) as Dr. Darian. Twenty-four year-old Kimberly Jansen is at a vulnerable point in her life when she visits her doctor late one night in a small Prairie town. Hysterical over a breakup with her boyfriend and concerned that her job at the gas station is barely enough for her and her young daughter to survive on, she pours her heart out to her doctor. After listening attentively, Dr Darian then gives her a sedative to calm her. What happened next, behind the closed door of the examination room, would tear the town apart for years. It would destroy lives and bring Kimberly and her family to the brink of ruin. But eventually, through Kimberly’s sheer grit and determination to bring the horrors of her experience to light, justice would be done. I Accuse is directed and executive produced by John Ketcham (Producer, The Hurricane).
