CMT Canada’s fan favourite series returns for Season 3 Cross-country auditions begin May 26 in Kelowna, BC Viewers can submit videos at to become a Karaoke Cyber-Star (Toronto, Canada) CMT Canada announced today that the cross-country audition tour for the next Karaoke Star will begin Tuesday, May 26 in Kelowna, BC. Judges will be holding auditions in eight cities across Canada, in search of viewers who can sing their hearts out for the $10,000 cash prize. To enter to be a contestant, candidates must arrive on time to the audition location to register and sign CMT release forms in order to be eligible for a 30- to 45-second audition. Contestants can choose from a list of songs and fill out their audition form in advance at Ten finalists will be chosen to return the next day for a second audition. Two finalists from each city will be chosen to compete in Banff, Alberta – one selected by the judges and one selected by viewers via online and text voting.
