Annual Fans’ Choice Awards Show Hits the Stage on Thursday, October 23. Performances will be Live-To-Air on 102.1 the Edge
(Toronto, Canada) 102.1 the Edge, Canada’s largest and most influential alternative rock station, announced the performers and nominees for the 2014 CASBY Music Awards (Canadian Artists Selected By You). In collaboration with Molson Canadian, the Awards will take place on Thursday, October 23 at Sound Academy in Toronto and will feature performances by some of Canada’s top rock artists, including the Arkells, Tokyo Police Club, Mounties, Dear Rouge, Current Swell and the winner of The Edge Next Big Thing Contest.
Tickets to this exclusive event can be won by listening to 102.1 the Edge or by voting online at www.edge.ca. Fans who vote will automatically be entered for a chance to win free passes to the show.
Representing the best in Canadian new rock, CASBY winners are determined through nationwide fan voting.

Voting for this year’s CASBY winners began at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 25 and will close on Friday, October 19. Winners will be announced Thursday, October 23 during the 2014 CASBY Music Awards. CASBY performances will be broadcast live on 102.1 the Edge and online at www.edge.com
