executive producer of the hit series Hannah
Montana and That’s So Raven, to produce
a new live-action comedy, Life with Boys.

With casting
commencing now, Life with Boys is
scheduled to begin production of 26 half-hour episodes in February 2011. Nelvana
Enterprises will distribute Life with
Boys in Canada, Latin America and Asia. Helion Pictures will cover distribution in Australia, France and
the United Kingdom and leading kids distributor Classic Media will manage distribution across all media in all
other territories worldwide.

Life with Boys is scheduled to
premiere in Canada on YTV in September
2011 and pre-sales have been secured across Canal J (France), Nickelodeon
(United Kingdom) and ABC (Australia).

Life with Boys follows 13 year-old
Tess Foster who is trying to navigate her way through the turmoil of teen life
with the only touchstones at home being her single overprotective dad and three
brothers. Although Tess adores the four important men in her life, they do have
four totally different perspectives – they are boys after all. Faced with the
constant struggle of trying to understand and be understood by those around
her, Tess is challenged with everything from her friends having crushes on her
brothers to her brothers giving her heat about her dates – testosterone rules
the roost. Despite the shortcomings of being the only girl in a male household,
the boys can sometimes offer some solid advice. Whether it’s building up
the courage to talk to a boy, dealing with an obnoxious one, or coping with the
repercussions of being the best girl on the boys wrestling team, Life with Boys sheds a comedic light on
many of life’s moments.

“We are so pleased to
be working with Michael Poryes – an incredibly talented individual who has his
finger on the pulse of what tweens want to watch,” said Jocelyn Hamilton, Vice
President, Programming and Production, Corus Kids. “With a comedic sensibility
and positive instinct, Tess’ character is a great example for tweens and Life
with Boys is a perfect fit for our family network YTV.”

“We’re looking to
cast these characters so both kids and parents can identify, relate and
understand all of their experiences in a comedic and entertaining way,” said
Michael Poryes, Creator and Executive Producer of Life with Boys. “When you make a bunch of kids laugh, that’s the
best, but when you’re getting the entire family laughing together, that’s even
better – that is success for me.”

"Michael's work
speaks for itself in terms of quality and reach, and he has set the standard
for kids television," said Helion Picture's Managing Director, Steven
Bawol. "Life with Boys will
raise the bar for this kind of programming. We're proud to be helping
bring this series to the international market."

Michael Poryes is co-creator and
executive producer of the Emmy-nominated series Hannah Montana and That's So Raven. Poryes also served as co-executive producer of Veronica's Closet as well as
co-executive producer of Cybill. Poryes
first started out in the entertainment business as a standup comedian and then
became a writer for the television series The
Facts of Life, Who's the Boss?
and Saved by the Bell, among others.
Poryes attended the University of California Berkley. He lives in Los Angeles
with his wife Diane and son Ethan.

Nelvana Studio is a

(Calgary, Canada) Effective today, Corus Entertainment Inc. will cease operation of Corus Custom
Networks (CCN) which operates a TV listings advertising service.

“As the broadcast industry
transitions to a fully digital environment, the operation of CCN’s analog TV
listings service is no longer a viable business,” said Doug Murphy, Executive
Vice President and President, Television, Corus Entertainment. “The
introduction of digital electronic guides has diminished the need for CCN’s
product offerings and as a result, CCN is closing its operations as of August
31.”
Canada) Corus Entertainment Inc.
(TSX: CJR.B; NYSE: CJR) announced today its intention to voluntarily delist its Class B Non-Voting Shares (“Class B Shares”) from the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”). The Company will continue to list and trade its Class B Shares on the
Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”).

The NYSE accounts for approximately 9% of Corus’ global trading volume and, as such, the Company believes its
shareholders are provided with sufficient liquidity through the TSX listing.

“We believe that the costs associated with maintaining our NYSE listing outweigh the benefits for the Company and our shareholders,” said John Cassaday, President and CEO, Corus
Entertainment. “The voluntary delisting from the NYSE will have no impact on Corus’ commitment to maintaining high standards of corporate governance and transparency in financial reporting.”

Corus provided written notice today to the NYSE that it intends to delist its Class B Shares. The Company intends to file a Form 25 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on or about July 26, 2010 to effect the delisting. Accordingly, the Company further anticipates that its Class B Shares will be delisted from the NYSE on or about August 5, 2010. Once the delisting is effective, the Company
will continue to meet its reporting obligations with the SEC until such time it
can terminate registration of its Class B Shares with the SEC, as permitted
under SEC rules.

Corus has not arranged for quotation of the Class B Shares on another U.S. national exchange or in a quotation medium in the United States.

Kicking off February 15, YMCA Strong Kids is an annual fundraising effort established to enable young people and their families from across the country to participate in YMCA programs.

With a commitment from Corus of over $600,000 in media support, the campaign rolls out across Corus’ radio stations and television channels, including YTV – seen in over 10.5 million homes – CMT and W Network. As part of the campaign, both companies are reaching out through their online assets, print materials and in print outlets to raise awareness for this initiative and the benefits of healthy active living.

“The YMCA is delighted to work with Corus Entertainment to shine a spotlight on the health and well-being of Canada’s children and youth,” said Scott Haldane, President and CEO of YMCA Canada. “This is the first generation that is not expected to live as long as their parents. We have to take action to reverse these trends now.”

“By harnessing the full strength of our media assets to reach kids and their families, Corus Entertainment can play an important role in encouraging families to make healthy, active living a part of their daily lives,” said Paul Robertson, President, Television, Corus Entertainment. “Together with the YMCA, our intent is to ensure that through the YMCA Strong Kids campaign, every child has access to programs that will result in a healthier Canada for future generations. Entertainment announced today
that AM Info690 Montréal and AM940
Montreal's Greatest Hits will
cease operation on January 29
at 7 p.m.

Despite the excellence
and dedication of station employees, Info690 and AM940 are unprofitable. Corus Québec and
its employees worked to grow audience and revenues on both these stations while
operating them as efficiently as possible. It is clear that these two AM stations
are not viable, particularly in the current economic climate.

This decision affects
10 positions, including eight positions at Info690: three
journalist positions, two traffic reporter positions and three operations
positions. At AM940 Montreal’s
Greatest Hits, two positions were affected: one on-air host position and one
technician position.

The Info690 Montréal
newsroom, known as CorusNouvelles,
will continue its activities as part of 98,5 FM Montréal. CorusNouvelles will continue to invest in providing
news content to the entire Corus Québec network and its clients. The
majority of journalist positions from the Info690 newsroom (five of eight journalist
positions along with three of five traffic reporter positions) will be
retained.

“We put tremendous
effort into trying to find the right format and content to grow our audience
base and operate profitably, but after years of effort it is clear these AM
stations are not viable,” said Mario Cecchini, Vice President, Corus Québec. “We would
like to thank the employees affected by this decision for their hard work. We would
also like to acknowledge the support of listeners and advertising clients of
Info690 Montréal and AM940 Montreal’s Greatest
Hits.”

The operating
licences for these two AM stations will be returned to the CRTC. Corus
Québec employs 466 people in Quebec.

About Corus Québec
Corus Québec is an integral part of Corus
Entertainment Inc. and the largest private content and information broadcaster
in Quebec. Corus Québec reaches more than 4.5 million listeners each week and

contributions this afternoon

(Toronto,
Canada) In an interview with Charles Adler on today’s Operation
Haiti radiothon featured on Corus’ news-talk network, The Right
Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, praised Canadians for their efforts in assisting the
people of Haiti.

The
Prime Minister also praised the efforts of the Canadian Armed Forces,
recognized the Canadian and worldwide response to the people of Haiti and
acknowledged the challenges that are being faced as the world reacts to this
terrible tragedy.

“It
was a great honour to have Prime Minister Stephen Harper join Corus
Entertainment’s Operation Haiti,” said Doug Rutherford, Vice
President, Western Radio, Corus Entertainment. “The incredible response to our
Red Cross appeal from listeners across the Corus news-talk network made us all
proud to be Canadians.”

“The
compassion and generosity of the Canadian public, government and business in
response to the Haiti earthquake has been immediate and overwhelming,” said
Conrad Sauvé, secretary general and CEO of the Canadian Red Cross. “With three
million people in urgent need of humanitarian assistance in Haiti, we encourage
more Canadians to join our donors in providing essential cash assistance to
rapidly deliver aid, restore hope and invest in rebuilding Haiti’s future.”
