COSMOPOLITAN TV FEBRUARY 2010 PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS
(Toronto, Canada) This February, CosmoTV is full of sizzling programming including an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the CosmoTV Bachelor Calendar shoot on a special Oh So Cosmo and the premiere of A Model Life hosted by supermodel Petra Nemcova. Also this month, viewers can get their fill of love and lust with romantic movies and a Sex and the City marathon on Valentine’s Day. OH SO COSMO BEHIND THE SCENES BACHELOR SPECIAL The hunt for Canada’s hottest hunk may be over, with bachelor Ryan being named the sexiest stud in the country, but Oh So Cosmo is offering up another dose of eye candy this February. In a special episode of Oh So Cosmo, viewers will get a special behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot for the 2010 Bachelor Calendar. Audiences can tune-in to meet all 12 of the steamy finalists who will be gracing the pages of the CosmoTV calendar and can watch as these hunks pose and flex for the camera. Celebrity photographer David Leyes and top hair stylist Shannon Wilson will be on the scene to make sure the boys are looking their best for their hot debut. Also, beginning in January, viewers can download their own free copy of the 2010 Bachelor Calendar from www.cosmotv.ca. What kind of woman is Mr. January looking for? And which one of these bachelors sleeps in the nude? Viewers can find out Wednesday, February 3 at 9 p.m. OH SO COSMO ROMANCE SPECIAL Oh So Cosmo gets viewers’ hearts racing this month with a special episode dedicated to all things romance. In this special the Oh So Cosmo team: Josie Dye, Wilder Weir and Jacqui Skeete, tackle matters of the heart just in time for Valentine’s Day. Josie dissects the ‘hopeless romantic’ in order to find out what makes him tick, Wilder examines what a guy’s pet name for a girl reveals in his Man Manual and Jacqui invites some single girls over to taste and learn about wine in The Single Girl’s Guide to Wine. Whether single or attached, viewers can tune-in for the Oh So Cosmo romance special on Wednesday, February 10 at 9 p.m. VALENTINE’S DAY On Sunday, February 14, audiences can spend Valentine’s Day with CosmoTV for an evening of programming that is sure to heat things up. The lineup kicks off with romantic movies including The Truth About Cats and Dogs airing at noon and Before Sunset at 3 p.m., followed by a Sex and the City marathon from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening concludes with the Oscar®-nominated film Romeo and Juliet at 9 p.m. starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. A MODEL LIFE – NEW SERIES PREMIERE Supermodel, Sports Illustrated cover girl and tsunami survivor, Petra Nemcova hosts the reality series A Model Life, which follows six aspiring models from around the world as they move to New York City and try to earn a modeling contract with one of the world's largest modeling agencies – NEXT Model Management agency. In this eight-episode series, Nemcova mentors the young girls as they learn the trade of modeling and the business of fashion. Throughout the series, the models experience the ups and downs of the fashion world from difficult photographers to contradicting advice on weight and body image, and are evaluated by NEXT Model Management to ultimately decide which of these fresh faces has the potential to be a successful model. In the first episode, the models move into their apartment and adjust to their living situation in the big city, and participate in their first photo shoot, which proves to be a challenge for several of the girls.
