COSMOPOLITAN TV JANUARY 2010 PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS
(Toronto, Canada) This January, CosmoTV launches into the New Year with the exciting new dating series Holidate. Plus, January is jam packed with hit movie premieres including The Holiday, starring Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black.
HOLIDATE – NEW SERIES PREMIERE
CosmoTV delivers the Canadian premiere of Holidate, an exciting and flirty new hour-long series that takes a fresh approach to the dating game. Two women from different cities trade places for three days. Once they swap cities they explore their new surroundings and head out on a series of three dates hand-picked by the other lady. Based on the Hollywood movie The Holiday, these women have it all – the looks, the brains, the career and the social network – but they can’t seem to find the right guy, thus they venture to new territory with the hopes of finding love. At the end of the three days and dates, each woman has the choice of giving one man a ticket to visit her – will it be love or another barren city? Immediately following The Holiday at 1 p.m. , viewers can catch the premiere of Holidate with two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, January 3 at 4 p.m. Two women, two cities, three days and three dates – Holidate premieres in its regular timeslot on Mondays at 9 p.m. beginning January 4.
