THE KOALA BROTHERS: OUTBACK CHRISTMAS MAKES ITS CANADIAN DEBUT ON DVD
(Toronto, Canada) – Join The Koala Brothers on their biggest journey yet – to the snowy landscapes of Antarctica to collect their friend, Penny the little penguin, and bring her back for a Christmas to remember in the Australian outback. The Koala Brothers: Outback Christmas will be available in Canada on DVD starting Tuesday, November 10 and will make its premiere on Treehouse on Saturday, December 12 at 1:30 p.m. ET. The fun-filled DVD, from Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse Presents label, will be distributed by kaBOOM! Entertainment, the children’s and family label of Phase 4 Films, and available across Canada at major retailers. Suggested retail price is $12.99.
The Koala Brothers television series revolves around the adventures of its two main characters, Frank and Buster. It was created by Australian born animation producer and director, David Johnson, and is produced by the U.K.’s Spellbound Entertainment.
In addition to Treehouse in Canada, the series has been acquired by 55 broadcasters covering over 155 territories worldwide. It has won many prestigious awards including Best Pre-school Series and the Writers Award from the British Animation Awards and has received four BAFTA nominations.
