MOVIE CENTRAL DECEMBER 2009 HIGHLIGHTS
(Toronto, Canada) December brings season finales of Dexter and Californication, plus Movie Central gets shaken, not stirred, with a James Bond movie marathon. Movie Central proudly premieres the Corus Made with Pay funded Canadian film One Week starring Joshua Jackson. Also premiering this month is the hilarious I Love You, Man, the action packed The Watchman, and the Oscar®-nominated Revolutionary Road starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. SERIES FINALES DEXTER Dexter’s determination to catch Arthur, the Trinity killer, leads to an encounter that will permanently change both of their lives. Meanwhile, Rita acknowledges her relationship issues with Dexter, and Debra uncovers a long hidden truth she never saw coming. The Season 4 finale premieres Sunday, December 13 at 9 p.m. PT on Movie Central and 10 p.m. ET on The Movie Network. CALIFORNICATION Hank Moody has a lot of balls in the air. While preparing for a big move, Hank’s daughter Becca shares a coming of age story with him. While Hank copes with Becca’s experiences in adulthood, Mia unexpectedly shows up at his house. She and her boyfriend are using tasteless tactics to promote her novel, and Hank feels pressure to come clean about their dirty secret. The finale of Season 3 premieres Monday, December 14 at 9 p.m. PT on Movie Central and 10 p.m. ET on The Movie Network. JAMES BOND MARATHON On Saturday, December 26 starting at 11:30 a.m. PT Movie Central is airing four back-to-back James Bond films leading up to the premiere of The Quantum of Solace, the latest instalment of the spy with a license to kill. Pierce Brosnan stars as Bond in GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day (2002) ushers in Daniel Craig, the new 007.
