Through Movie Central, Corus Entertainment has committed an additional $500,000 to its $1 million script and concept development fund and renamed it the Corus Made With Pay Fund. The fund assists producers of movies and series being developed for theatrical release and/or pay television in Canada. In addition to the support of theatrical feature films, the fund now includes support of "made for pay" television movies and series; increased support, on a per project basis, for senior level projects; and support of a slate of productions for companies that have three or more projects in active development.

This $1.1 million fund is a top-up licence fee for programs that appeal to Canadian Italian and Hispanic audiences and have specific support from TLN, the Telelatino network. Projects do not need to be in the Italian or Spanish language, but must appeal to these communities. Program categories are drama and comedy, music and dance, variety and talk show. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, effective immediately.
