From a corporate level, Corus’ funding allocation goal is to closely align our charitable giving to our business plan and whenever possible, to support organizations with national sponsorships rather than local charities, which receive funding from our individual companies.
The primary focus of our corporate giving strategy is:
- Improving the lives of Canadian children by supporting programs that support play and development through arts and entertainment.
- Improving the lives of Canadian women and their families by supporting programs and initiatives that offer training, skills development and tools that enhance the economic and personal independence of women.
Corus is a supporter of the United Way through corporate donations and employee campaigns and also encourages and supports the volunteer efforts of its employees.
CORUS ENTERTAINMENT CORPORATE GIVING COMMITTEE
All requests for donations from the Corus Entertainment Corporate Giving Committee or from any Corus division are considered on a centralized basis at the Company's corporate level; therefore there is no need to make separate requests to individuals within Corus Entertainment. All requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If your company is a registered charity, please review the Eligibility Requirements below to determine if your request for support meets Corus’ criteria.
We regret that we cannot respond to every request. We regret that we cannot donate merchandise from Corus or any Corus property.
